The residents to block also wanted access to the roof so they could use this as a communal area. Rubber matting was laid over the new roof membrane in order to protect the new roof covering.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Base Building Consultancy prepared detailed specification of works, tendered the works to suitable contractor, and appointed the contractor on behalf the board.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The works were monitored on site to ensure the contractor was complying with specification. Monthly progress meeting were held with the contractor, and monthly valuations and payment certificates were arranged and issue to the contractor and the managing agent for payment.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]A snagging list was prepared and a final end of defects carried out after 6 months of completion date.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
