Base Building Consultancy were instructed by The London Buddhist Centre to produce a specification of works in relation to the external repairs and decorations to the London Buddhist Centre in Bethnal Green.
The London Buddhist Centre is a six storey Grade II listed Victorian building and is located in the Globe Road conservation area. The storeys are arranged over basement and five upper floors. The client also wished to address issues with roof leaks and repairs to the chimney stacks. Generally works included local repairs to brickwork, joinery, glazing, roof coverings, gutters, lead flashings, ironmongery and decorations.
Base Building Consultancy has vast experience in preparing specifications of work for external repairs and decorations projects on both residential and commercial properties. Base Building Consultancy undertook a detailed survey of the estate and prepared a specification of repair and decoration works. Base Building Consultancy obtained tender prices and reported to the Client making a recommendation for appointment. Supervision of the works was in the form of weekly site attendance, minuted monthly progress meetings and monthly valuations of completed works.
